Kayla is an English major who is deeply passionate about children’s and YA literature, along with LGBTQ+ and environmental justice. In her free time she creative writes and reads fantasy and science fiction, and loves binging Netflix shows. Kayla has recently acquired a small plant garden and is happy to report that all of them are thriving. Her goal in life is to travel to every continent in the world, and to help develop good representation in children’s books so everyone can properly see themselves in their favorite stories when growing up.
