Destiny Gilchrist is a senior attending the University of Arizona. She is majoring in both English and Creative Writing. Her love of reading and writing started at 6 years old in a small library where she decided to read Clifford the Big Red Dog for the first time. Later she began to explore the world of poetry as a way to reflect on the world and the things she experienced. She found it important to see herself in the stories that she both reads and writes. She strives to share more work for different voices like her own.
